Staub’s Solution
The Staub team designed permanent fixturing to maximize efficiency and immediately invested in the best tooling to complete the critical bore with precision. We put in place a custom diamond reamer for cutting and a custom mandril for our air gaging system to inspect the critical diameter. By pairing just the right process and tooling with a tailored measuring system, we were able to exceed the client’s demands.
Result
Not only did Staub deliver the part as required, but we also developed a four year (and counting) relationship with zero customer returns. Our customer takes these parts from dock to stock, avoiding the pitfalls that overseas sourcing can bring.
