Staub Machine is seeking experienced Assembly/Production candidates for its Hamburg, NY office. The company manufactures and sells precision-machined parts for their customers mostly in the medical, aerospace and communications industries. The successful candidate will have the skills to complete the below job requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Precisely repeat actions for all of the same product type each time assembled.
- Able to position and manipulate parts with the hands, demonstrating manual dexterity.
- Follows work instructions and directions carefully and precisely.
- Communicate with co-workers and supervisor to receive instructions.
- Prepares raw material for machining.
- Finishes or deburrs parts after machining.
- Visually or metrically inspects parts to meet quality requirements.
- Performs all job functions to meet acceptable quality and performance standards.
- Cleans machine, tooling and area around the workstation daily.
Additional Responsibilities May Include:
- (May) Drive a forklift truck to transport material for storage or delivery to another department.
- Load or unload shipments of raw materials and finished goods.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Related work experience or training in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
- Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Able to follow directions precisely and perform repetitive tasks
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Adaptability/flexibility to change
- Ability to meet deadlines
