Key Responsibilities: 

• Operate lathes to produce precision components according to specifications.
• Follow written and visual instructions, utilizing direct supervision as needed to complete tasks accurately.
• Utilize advanced inspection equipment to verify the quality and accuracy of machined parts.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to all safety protocols.
• Work to improve efficiency and improve quality on existing machining projects.
• Work independently and with team members to achieve goals and meet deadlines.
• Maintain company quality and safety standards, record keeping, and equipment.
• Will have opportunity to work with advanced robotics and other automation that is paired with machining centers.

Qualifications: 

• Experience with machine setup is helpful, but also more than willing to train an operator into a machinist.
• Should possess a great attitude, punctual, strong attention to detail and able to learn quickly.
• GD&T is a plus, but not necessary.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
