Job Posting – CNC Machinist

We are seeking candidates with experience on CNC mills, lathes, or both. If you take pride in craftsmanship, enjoy problem-solving on the shop floor, and want to be part of a team that values continuous improvement, this could be the perfect fit for you.

We serve industries such as aerospace, medical, and high-tech manufacturing, where precision and quality matter most. You’ll work with modern CNC and automation equipment in a clean, organized facility—and we’re preparing to move into a brand-new, high-tech facility by spring 2026.

What You’ll Do:

  • Perform setup and operation of CNC mills and lathes to produce high-quality precision parts.
  • Complete setups for complex parts independently, ensuring all tools, offsets, and fixtures are properly configured.
  • Adjust tooling, offsets, and machine parameters to maintain production quality and efficiency.
  • Inspect parts to ensure they meet all dimensional and visual specifications.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and setup documentation accurately.
  • Troubleshoot machining and setup issues, collaborating with team members to develop solutions.
  • Support and operate robotic and automated machining systems.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Setup experience is required—must be able to set up complex parts without assistance.
  • Experience operating CNC milling and/or turning machines in a production environment.
  • Programming experience (FANUC or similar) is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of G and M codes preferred.
  • Fixture setup and design experience a plus.
  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings, work instructions, and inspection requirements.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing top-quality work.
  • Positive, team-oriented attitude and willingness to learn.
  • Familiarity with 5-axis machining or automation is a plus—but we’re happy to train the right person.
  • Bonus points for experience in aerospace or medical manufacturing.

Why You’ll Want to Work at Staub:

  • Be part of a growing company with a strong reputation for excellence.
  • Work with advanced CNC and automation technology.
  • Join a supportive, respectful team that values communication, learning, and teamwork.
  • Help build precision components that make a difference in industries that impact lives.
  • Participate in our move to a brand-new, purpose-built facility by spring 2026.
  • Consistent, stable hours—no unpredictable shifts.
