Support and Finishing
At Staub Additive, we have an entire traditional machine shop at our fingertips. That means that if your 3D Printed part needs machining, smoothing, sanding, deburring, washing, coating, fine-tuning or double-checking, we have the equipment available to do it. And we don’t have to go very far to get it. We get parts to our customers the way they want them, period.
We have added the ability to smooth ABS-M30 parts from our Fortus 400. Hand sanding, bead blasting, and vapor smoothing are available smoothing techniques that allow us to give our customers the part finish that they desire.
- We offer two vapor smoothed finishes: Smooth Matte Finish and Smooth Gloss Finish. Depending on part geometry, this process can provide smoother part finishes and can also bring some other added benefits to the end product.
- Want to take your parts to the next level of finishing? Depending on part geometry, a combination of vapor smoothing, sanding, and bead blasting can virtually eliminate layer lines on an FDM part.
