We have three simple Quality objectives, which have been the backbone of Staub for many years:
- To exceed customer expectations.
- To make in-tolerance parts.
- To ship parts on-time.
We are committed to consistently meeting or exceeding our customer’s requirements in product quality, order quality, and delivery. Our Quality Team, management, and all employees are continually looking for ways to improve our QMS, the parts that we are manufacturing, and the company as a whole.
Quality Management System
We go to great lengths ensure that we are following our procedures, and to look for gaps in our systems. Data is tracked and studied regarding nonconforming parts, shipment dates, customer returns, and internal scrap rate to name a few areas. We track these metrics and share them with all employees. We set goals and give employees incentives for meeting them. Everyone knows where we stand, where we are going, and where we hope to be.
Staub has always been well-known for our detail-oriented approach. The foundation of details, organization, and processes on which Staub was built have only been reinforced by our ISO 9001:2008 Certification. We maintain material traceability from raw material to finished part. We use labels for all raw material and WIP, and have procedures in place to control, quarantine, and document nonconformances. Our goal is to continually improve our company, and to allow our customers to reap the benefits.
We take pride in shipping our customers good parts all the time. Since the early days of Staub, our priority has been to engineer quality into the processes of making parts rather than inspection. Our processes for making parts are rock solid, but we still take great care to ensure that we are getting the results that we plan for. We’ve got high-end measurement tools and equipment to fit the parts that we make. We purchase quality tools and take great care of them. All measurement equipment that touches customer product is calibrated by an outside ISO 17025 certified calibration lab.
We most likely have the measuring equipment to measure your part, but if we don’t we’re always ready to upgrade our arsenal. Below is a snapshot of some of our measuring devices.
